2nd week thought, “Self, you survived the 1st week, you can survive the n  ext one. Keep going.”
    The second week was meant for teaching assistance. I joined the classes of my mentor and my free time was spent in making lesson plans and just staying at the office. The Language Department office became an avenue for teachers’ observation. I was able to notice the peaceful yet chaotic world of teaching where teachers stay at the office for few hours to prepare their lessons and eventually going to the classroom to face the students. It had always been like that. Teachers come and go like a cold breeze touching souls and gently leaves. 
    The second weekend was well spent by travelling in the nearby district of Surat Thani. We visited temples and a popular coffee shop which gives a relaxing and refreshing view of mountains. It was nice experiencing what native Thai people usually do. It gives a comforting feeling of being welcomed in a strange place.
